Ok. I’ve had enough idiots! Get a theodolite, go find an empty parking lot. Get a pencil and a piece of paper to write field notes on. Now lets start surveying. Measure the length of each side of the parking lot and note the degrees minutes and seconds for each side compared to north.
Now take your field notes and draw the parking lot to exact scale on a piece of paper. Why don’t the ends meet IDIOTS?! Because there’s a measurable curvature to the earth IDIOTS! Take an orange.
Cut it in half.
Now quarter cut the half.
there you go.. four wedges with triangular surfaces cut from a sphere with equi-length sides and three 90 degree angles.

Do the same with the other half and you then have eight equilateral triangles from one sphere.

I would say there’s no such thing as a 3-dimensional sphere in reality. Because the surface of a 3-dimensional object must be 2-dimensional.
And on a 2-dimensional sphere, you could go north, south, east, or west, but not up or down. SO: the surface could not curve in accordance with “distance squared times linear curvature”
There would just be linear curvature, you see? No third dimension to it.
Earth is a 4 dimensional sphere with a 3-dimensional surface. It has ups and downs, as well as north, south, east, west.
And the ripples on a pond are circular, no matter the angle of impact of the rock you skip across it. Impact craters are circular, no matter the angle of impact. BECAUSE: to penetrate a 4 dimensional object, you must make a 3-dimensional hole.
