Corporate Fascism, Democracy, Constitutional Republic: What Type of Government Do We Really Have?

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

The Democracy Illusion

What type of government do we have? What type of government should we have? What type of government do the people think we have? Why is it important?

I believe if we want to keep our liberties that seem to be dwindling more and more every day, people need to know what kind of government they have and what responsibility they have to stand up for their liberties.

The Founding Fathers outlined a government based on freedom, but it wasn’t supposed to be something that was just handed to us—it was a government that put a responsibility on the people to hold on to their freedom. We have gotten so fat and happy in this country, we’re not doing anything to keep the government the Founding Fathers originally outlined for us.

In the subtitle of my book, I call our country, The Land of Plenty. This is what we have become; the land of too much, too much plenty. We have everything we could want at our fingertips. This has distracted us with material things so much so, we’ve lost our way.

If you randomly stopped people on the street and asked them what type of government do we have, what would they answer? I would bet that most would say the “D” word, democracy. Why would they answer that way? I argue the people have been brainwashed over the decades. People hear over and over in the media that we live in a democracy. Whether people realize it or not, they’ve internalized that phrase, and believe their government is a democracy.

Most Americans today don’t know the form of government given to them by the Founding Fathers. Even though most Baby Boomers and GenXers were taught about the “constitutional republic” form of government—this has been overshadowed over the decades of hearing the word democracy in media reports and in the classroom, and subconsciously people have absorbed this falsity.

The Type of Government the People Think We Have: The Perpetuation of a Lie

The schools, colleges, media, politicians, and thought leaders are perpetuating the lie of democracy. Most people have no idea what the word even means. The following quotes from high-profile people are proof of the echo chamber—from all sides, including liberals, libertarians and conservatives.

Nancy Pelosi – in reference to the Trump impeachment issue: “Our democracy is what is at stake. . . .”

Theodore Roosevelt – “A great democracy has got to be progressive, or it will soon cease to be either great or a democracy.”

Ralph Nader – “There cannot be daily democracy without daily citizenship.”

Jimmy Carter – “The best way to enhance freedom in other lands is to demonstrate here that our democratic system is worthy of emulation.”

George W. Bush – “The roots of our democracy can be traced to England, and to its Parliament.”

Barack Obama – “There will always be passionate arguments about how we draw the line when it comes to government action. This is how our democracy works.”

John McCain – “If you want to preserve–I’m very serious now–if you want to preserve democracy as we know it, you have to have a free and many times adversarial press.”

Democracy and Mob Rule

In college, I took a two-part American History course. Back then, college professors did not necessarily tell you what side of the fence they were on politically—they were more open to a discussion of different views. I would guess based on some things my American History professor said, she was probably Democrat. I remember her telling us back then that a democracy really was “mob rule.”

So what is mob rule and what’s wrong with it? Mob rule means the majority of the day is the ruling group of the day –so if you don’t believe in the framework of what those people believe, you will cease to have representation and the possibility of losing your liberties. Who the “mob of the day” is, determines whether or not you’re being represented by your government. If you don’t subscribe to the mob of the day, then you’re not represented.

CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF: Democracy does not keep everyone free, only the majority. The liberties of the minority in a democracy can be extinguished because it favors only the majority of the day. John Chalfant rationally summed up this point in his book, Abandonment Theology: The Clergy and the Decline of American Christianity:

“A pure democracy unbridled and uncontrolled is one of the worst and most unstable forms of government. Karl Marx favored such democracies because they could readily be converted into socialism and then communism. As he (Karl Marx) said in the Communist Manifesto, ‘The first step in the revolution by the working class . . . is to win the battle of democracy.’…There was not one man among the Founding Fathers who wanted a democracy. Thus, when we are told by our government that the American form of government is a democracy, that statement is not true.”

Chalfant said, a pure democracy, unbridled and uncontrolled, is one of the worst and most unstable forms of government because it could easily move us into a tyrannical government type.

Most Americans, I believe, don’t really know the type of government they have, especially when you’re talking about anybody younger than the Gen X generation, specifically the millennials and younger.

The Constitutional Republic: The Type of Government We Were Given & Should Have

The Founding Fathers gave us a Constitutional Republic and it is important to understand why they chose this type of government.  In his book, Chalfant emphasizes how a republic is a unique and stable form of government that gives individuals liberty by its very nature because it was founded upon the righteous laws of God, not men. It is important people understand why a constitution republic is unique.

“Rather than a democracy, America’s government is a republic in which the people elect those who will represent them in performing functions of government . . . the citizens, in exchange for their God-given freedoms, are charged with the sacred duty of vigilantly watching over their political representatives and of holding them accountable for their public moral conduct and their adherence to Biblical principles in all legislative matters.”

Did you catch that? “…charged with the sacred duty of vigilantly watching over their political representatives…”

As “We the People” have stepped out of government, we’ve been replaced! A republic—comes with responsibility. As a constitutional republic, it is the responsibility of the people to elect representatives on their behalf, to “represent” their wishes in government—to be the servants of the constituents. On the flip side, the people have the responsibility to ensure the elected representatives are in fact carrying out their wishes. When representatives go off track and start putting their own agenda first, then it is the responsibility of the people to change that.

Corporate Fascism: The Type of Government We Seem to Have

In recent years, corporations have been implementing government edicts that have been handed down to them, even if it means losing their customer base. This is especially true in the areas of the United Nations/World Economic Forum’s green agenda and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts. I believe we really have become a corporate fascist type of government.

Why would corporations do this at the risk of losing their customers and money? I believe they have probably been warned that if they don’t play the game the WEF way, they won’t have a business at all—and in turn the plan all along has been to have the corporations help carry out the New World Order agenda through corporate compliance.

When a nation that was founded on biblical principles and accountability to an Almighty God starts to gut him out of all the pillars of society, the result is the chaos we’re living today.

When God leaves, the spirit of evil and emptiness replaces Him—leading to spiritual and social rot. I believe the roots of our country are now rotting. We’re rotting from the inside out. Nobody had to come in and hold us at gunpoint—we’ve done a lot of it ourselves. If Thomas Jefferson were here today, he wouldn’t even recognize the country he helped set up—that is sad.
