Has anyone actually stopped to think about the fact that Pokemon, as well as all these ball sports are actually CHILDREN’S pastimes? I still find it very difficult to understand why there are ADULTS out there making millions by engaging in childhood hobbies. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if hopscotch, playing marbles, or jumping rope ever became multimillion-Dollar “industries” dominated by state-subsidised ADULTS.
When I was a kid we made our own bows and arrows and we’d go into the sewers to shoot rats. Nowadays especially in the US I’m sure that would entail a whole slew of “federal crimes,” “endangered species,” and think-tanks putting out volumes of “literature” about the “environmental” and “moral” “ethics” of rat-hunting.
Instead, today’s boys are encouraged to play with dolls, except that they call them “action figures.”
I learned about aerodynamics when I was 7 by making and “flying” my own parachutes off our garage roof. I gained all kinds of skills by making my own “cool” weapons. I learned about chemistry by brewing my own alcohol at the age of 9 and subsequently about the medical effects thereof. Learned about biology by dissecting dead animals. Learned about economics by holding my own garage sales when I was 12 and getting my first real job as an assistant janitor when I was 14 just so I could get money to start investing.
Back then, kids were smarter. Being a kid was FUN because adults were smarter.
And nowadays, they’re all playing Pokemon and instead of using tjhe internet to become more intelligent, they’re just letting it make them dumber.
It’s all about diverting attention from important things while giving people some stupid diversion, pacifying people into submission, and stealing their money. An example would be the fashion “industry” where some guy who looks exactly like some evil cartoon character with a dyslexic brand logo comes out with a shoe that looks exactly like a house slipper that’s been chewed on by a cow and selling it to stupid people who pay 800 Euros for them and becoming a multi-billionaire off this. The elites are laughing at us.
What’ll be the next wave of stupididty? An olympic Simon Says team? A pogo stick team? Something to do with hula hoops? Or wait, a sport that combines hula hoops AND pogo sticks? Even more outlandish “body art” like lip-disks and a feather through the nose? It’s coming to that.
So just drink more Brawndo because it’s got electrolytes, which, as everybody knows are “what plants need.” Whatever you do, don’t drink any water. You know, the stuff that’s in your toilet bowl.
